I saw console bundles at my local Walmart, but didn't notice any stand alones.

Local Gamestop had both.

Don't know where you live but I see a LOT of Kinect ads on TV, and when I say lot I mean LOT! I even saw one I haven't seen before yesterday, it was a Kinect ad by Target. The marketing push has started and has been in full swing for a while now.

Most of the ads I see watching sports and network tv are for black ops and cataclysm with a few move ads interspersed.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

What does this have to do with the topic? I don't even understand what you're talking about.

TheSource talks of going around to retailers to collect anecdotal data on how Kinect sales are faring and leo-j's simple concept is lost on you in the thread? Why, if I might ask? How was it hard to understand or off topic at all? He simply refers to a wider operation based on the same thing TheSource said he was going to do.

i predict it wiil do tremendously well to exsisting xbox owners, after that its anyones guess. il stick with the device being to costly will hurt it in the long run, but i can deffo picture it being a success i may even get one further on down the line

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

I had a hard time comprehending the pig english I guess. It's like trying to decipher a code.

The amount of ads I have seen for Kinect is way waaaaaay higher than those for Black Ops OR Move, actually it's more than those two combined. I watch tv mainly in time periods between 7 - 10 PM. Maybe it's a time issue or maybe it's an issue with the shows we watch, but trust me when I say MS marketing push has been in full swing for at least a week now.

Even though it is just Amazon.com, the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect bundle is still the best selling console! on No. 9, outselling the red Wii on No. 20

It looks like this:

Xbox 360 250GB Kinect on No.9
Red Wii 2 games on No. 20
Xbox 360 4 GB Kinect on No. 25
Wii 2 games on No. 40
PS3 160 GB on No. 47
PS3 320 GB on No. 63
Xbox 360 4GB on No. 71

Kinect sensor standalone, Xbox 360 250 GB standalone and Xbox 360 250 GB holiday bundle are sold out.

To me it looks like that there has been a shift and the consoles bundled with Kinect are very popular. The preorders for the 250 GB Kinect bundle was the topselling console weeks before launch.

3 Kinect only titles are in the top25 at Amazon (Kinect Sports, Dance Central, Your Shape). I haven't seen anything like this for any PS Move title, except the bundled one.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
