It works like this.
We have four generally confirmed townies. It's not absolute, but we can pretend. I can say with absolute certainty that Homer and Metal_Gear are town. For the sake of this conversation let's pretend you and I are.
Five unconfirmed townies sit on the other side.
We have a vigilante. We can kill two unconfirmeds per day, while the Mafia can only kill one confirmed per day.
In addition to this, the cop could - in theory - eliminate one more suspect per day, either confirming them as Mafia or Town. Homer's power is less useful in this situation, so I'm not going to put it down as an elimination sort of thing.
We are on Day 3. By Day 4, there will be 2 unconfirmed townies left and 3 (more or less) confirmed. It doesn't matter WHAT the Mafia does at that point, they've lost. They can kill the vig or the cop but not both, and at that point it won't matter. Game over, Mafia. We win by the end of Day 4 or the dawn of Day 5, no questions asked.
We are, thanks to rampant modkilling, in the endgame. It could be close, but only if we play this very, very stupidly.
I'm thinking that all townies with power roles should reveal themselves, BUT NOT UNTIL I SAY SO. Is anyone against this?
