But actually, if it does less than 10k next week it'd be weird. Anyway, if its' release date gets announced this week, preorders will at least stay the same. So we'll probably never find out

That's my point, not everyone got the memo last week. Now a release date announced this week can maintain the level of preorders, but some people will cancel if it doesn't happen.

Serious note: it'll be fine, just as many predicted. Even if people pre-ordered just now thinking the date was today, I think most of them will keep the order. I'm thinking an early December release.

They have the GT awards tomorrow and Yamauchi is attending.....perfect place to announce the new release date

If he doesn't announce it there I doubt fans will let him leave the place alive

Yeah, I'm thinking he will. And again, I peg it for an early Dec release (Dec 6/7ish - or perhaps 13/14ish).

If he does announce a release date he should also assure it by telling us it has gone gold! =D

very nice boost for GT5 compared to last week's fiasco, same with kinect adventures. Assassins Creed got a nice boost as well. Everything else seems normal.
