Well PS3 gained 2 million units in two weeks so yes the end is apparently nigh. Wii sold like hotcakes every other holiday season so I'll believe it won't when it don't.

To me it seems fairly obvious that it will be the Wii. This will be its last holiday "victory" though (imo).
Meh...you sure the numbers in the OP are correct ?

Agree. Wii will win by 1-5-2M
PS3 second, and 360 third, but not sure about how far...

I just copied the numbers from the VGChartz Hardware table, data for the period 10th Jan 2010 to 23rd Oct 2010.
You can do the same and check if I'm incorrect.
It really does depend, i actully work in a UK based supermarket and theres a 160GB PS3 standalone unit with one controller for £200. and to date i've never been asked about anything from that electronics department... until today when 2 customers asked me whether we had the PS3 160GB in stock.
it seems like the PS3 is very popular at the moment, i think if there is a similar deal in other retail outlets across the EU combined with the release of GT5, then it will be the PS3. i can also say that we've also had a 360 bundle, but that dosent seem to be as popular for some reason - imo if they can get GT5 out by Dec 8th - then it could well be the PS3.

Well if you would have included the week before that you would have had another 160k lead for the Wii, and about 167000 more of a lead for PS3.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Also just wondering, but why do they do the percentages comparing the whole previous year to the up to date current year?
