I love my pizza, so I had to go with north america.

Are you kidding me? Pizza is italian.

Burgers and hotdogs are of German origin too, how similar they are to their roots I dunno though.

Americans have fake cheese I guess, though imo that should mark them down.

As the continent is North America though thta includes Mexico and the rest of central America... oh and Jamaica and the other islands around there.

Regarding pizza, I guess there is enough of a change in the typical pizza you'd buy/order in the US compared to what you'd get in Italy. Though I don't doubt there is also Italian pizza in the US.

The usual toppings differ a lot, and the dough probably does too. Though sadly I've never had pizza in Italy that was from a big chain/take-away, and I never had pizza at some small Italian place in the US to really judge well (plus I've only been to NY, and it's supposed to be different there too).

Spanish(NOT Mexican) and japanese food.

Shhhh.... don't tell him that, you don't wanna destroy his childhood, do you?

Above: still the best game of the year.

People voting America because you can get Pizza/Indian/chinese and all sorts of cuisine's in cities there are SERIOUSLY missing the whole point of this thread....

Its more about where those foods are originating from....those continents "make" it truly

The small town I used to live in, in the UK had mexican/thai/indian/american/middle eastern/spanish/italian restaurants

UK HAS THE BEST CUISINE CONFIRMEDZ?

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Asia.

It has Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Korean, Indonesian, Lebanese and (sort of) Turkish food. You can't beat that.

Europe is pretty close, with French, Greek, Italian, and Turkish (again) food.

No other continent is anywhere near those two, IMO.

Indeed. For me it goes Europe > Asia >> the rest of the world put together.

Pizza evloved kind of differently, I'm pretty sure it's made quite differently in Italy.  And also, Germans brought the meat for hamburgers, but served them up as thick steaks, nothing like how hamburgers are today.  Same with hot dogs I think.  My first post has a number of things that justify North America qualifying.

I eat everything but it's easily Asian first, followed by Europe then the Americas.

Asian food is just so diverse. The flavourful currys of India and Nepal, the amazingly delicate and fresh Japanese fish, the meats of the mid-East, the mass variety of Chinese recipes, the spicy recipes of Thailand, the fresh water fish dishes of Cambodia etc.

Europe has great food but outside the mediterranian countries the food can be somewhat bland, especially in comparison to the sheer variety of flavoursome dishes available from Asia. Having said that, I still love my Pasties, German sausages, Hungarian meat-bread, Swiss Chocolate etc. But if this was a contest on alcohol, Europe wins hands down.

As for the Americas, Mexican food is brilliant. Burritos are easily my fave post-beer food now and I love mole sauce. In the US however, I think most foods are imported from Europe (e.g. Pizza = Italian) but some recipes have come out that are unique and very tasty.

I haven't experienced enough of African and Australian food to really say how good it is but I know North African food is delicious, and I like some of the frsh water fish dishes from coastal regions of Africa. All I know out of Australia is they do great Barbeques!

I've only eaten American food or American versions of food from other countries.  I guess I'm a little biased.  But since Brazil has the hottest women, I'll say Brazillian food is best.

You eat women? That is just disgusting.

EDIT: Though, looking at South America in this map, you're in the clear, I guess.

Really,so your saying Amercia is nothing but a bunch of lazy rednecks.  give me a break. Everybody want's to come to America for a reason. All of these other places, wish that they were America. lol

America, because I live there and I can eat food from all of these other countries in the first place. lol
