Ok guys stop baiting and flaming Diomedes and get back on topic.

The Spanish people like stylish things. Sony simply does that better than the competitors.

Spanish and Italian men are up their own arses, they can't help but buy things that they think make them look macho, even though most live at home with thier mothers until they are in their 40s!

Lived in both places and the men are all so arrogant and treat the women like shit.

y dose it matter if the wii has lost or the ps3 won in spain, the console war isnt gonna be won on how wins in spain

There are Wii owners and there are Wiitards .Most of the people posting in this thread are Wiitards .Sad ,but true .

And the PS3 outsells the 360 in all Europe save maybe UK (and we dont know since the 40Gb introduction ) .Its not only a case of Spain ,Italy ,Portugal and Greece .

In any case ,and given that you are insulting my country ,maybe you should know that the common conception on the americans worlwide is that you are absolute ignorants that doesnt even know where the other countries are and dont know nearly anything outside your country or even better state .That would explain many things with the american market too (obsession with FPS for instance ) .Your patritiotism would also explain the X360 doing well there while it flops in the rest of the world .

So stop flaming ,because its easy to use a cliche to attack others .

The PS3 sells great in Spain ,the Wii sells very good too although not so much and the X360 sells quite poorly .Thats all and trying to spin this is useless ,more so that you are trying to spin this with cliches as the supposed macho-looking behaviour of the southern europeans .The PS3 also outsold the Wii last october in Germany too dont you know it ,and in Japan ....maybe those are too macho-looking guys that must to have the most expensive machine ?

Just to be clear, I read the translation wrong. I'm not my self today, and thought the article says the Wii is at 50k.

It is from personal experience of living there and I couldn't believe how a lot of them bahave myself! Although it was unfair of me to label them all the way I described, I'm sure there are some nice ones, I just can't remember meeting any myself!

Still brand loyalty is high in here in Spain. The Playstation has a long pull. I have a few friends that believe the PS3 will become pirated in the future. And a few Wii owners I know have their Wii's chipped...

I've talked with some Nintendo representatives, and they are happy with how things are going. The market share they are reaching was only done before by the Super Nintendo.

Also, been trying to get an uncle of mine to get the Wii. His son loved the gaming sessions at my house, but the father is going to get him the 40 GB this Christmas.
