I'm not talking sales. I'm trying to say Fable 3 is one of if not only game that can appeal to pretty much anybody this year.

I would've gave this award to Little Big Planet 2 but it got delayed.

Games like Halo/COD would mostly appeal to FPS fans.

Gran Turismo 5 pretty much appeals to racing fans.

Fable 3 however, can appeal to adventure, action, simulator, strategy, hack and slash, rpg, and shooter, and co-op fans. And casual minigame players too.

Adventure- Plenty of open space and riddles. Lots of things to find

Action- Explosions etc...

Simulator- Adjusting economy, buying/selling

strategy- One of the ways to be king

Hack and slash- weilding the sword

rpg- leveling up, magic etc.

shooter- first person crossbow/gun

Co-op wont be trash this time

mini games- card games, jobs etc

what do you think? Red dead redemption also comes to mind

I think Halo: Reach and CoD: CO can appeal to a huge crowd. Even if you're not a FPS fan, I'm sure you can have a great time especially with Halo.

But I think SMG2 is the most appealing of the year still.

Halo Reach, Red Dead Redemption uper Mario Galaxy 2. Wii Party. Whatever sells the most.

You judge appeal by sales imo.

But best game this year is Mass Effect 2 imo

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

Simply because you can do pretty much anything at all in the game.

So much stuff to do in WoW!

the most apealing game to all is Super Mario Bro's 

LBP is this gens most apealing game

of 2010 i wouldn't say Fable but instead Sports champions.  Everyone will play it hardcore or causal, just like Wii sports but wii sports wasn't released this year. 

lets face it Frontier/farmville are the most appealing games ATM each has tens of millions of players, not even wow can compete in players.

oh and that angry birds game

Epic Mickey would be a fair contender on that front as well. Action/Adventure/light RPG/platforming
