Wii will win again for few weeks when dragon quest 10 release, other then this and price cut nothing seems able to boost it's sales anymore. Wii don't seems to have much potential anyway, unless nintendo comes out with new mario series or maybe a new and better peripherals for some new gameplay style again. 

after all Wii selling power mainly is because of its peripherals to most casual & non gamers that's why it sell so much in the past, but such fever has started to cool down, it's not a WOW anymore.

The Wii still has a bunch of exclusives for this year. More then the PS3.

For the PS3, only GT5 has any chance of moving PS3. We already saw that the MOVE had ZERO effect on selling PS3. Sales actually dropped the week the MOVE was launched. Most people already own a Wii now anyways. It already has about 75 million sold worldwide.

Umm really move preorders havent been flying off in japan. Am i missing something? :S

PS3 is ahead by 30k at this moment so that should be doable

EDIT: just to further expand on my post. GT5 was announced to be delayed over 1 week ago with a promised date of the holidays. Rumors circulated that it was just because of the new firmware and would only be 3 days, yet no new release date yet. There are now statements that they have frame rate drops in certain conditions. I see this sorta like when Smash Bros Brawl was delayed. They could have released it for the holidays but said, "hey, if you give us more time we can make this truely great" and it got delayed into the next year, but originally announced it would be a short delay. I think the same type of thing is happening at Polyphony Digital.

I think PS3 will outsell Wii in Japan for the holidays !!! It's not too far fetched actually.

Well, the Wii is an old system now, it was released 4 years ago. Nintendo has a tradition of releasing a new Home Console every 5 years.

As far as software, I believe Wii is well ahead of the PS3 still. I also do not think the Move will do that well; the market is already firmly in Nintendo's hands. I think the Move controller will sell almost exclusively for fans of Sony who really wanted to play the Wii, but were too biased against Nintendo to get one.
