- Reliable hardware. Don't cut corners again and then deny the problem until you are forced to do something about it.

- Either make the accessories cheaper or let me use third party devices

- Make online play free. If they want to charge for cross game chat and whatever other live specific features, go nuts.

- Allow developers to release free DLC if they want to.

Each of these is wishful thinking, I know.

Enough with the reliability BS.  I am certain Microsoft has learned their billion dollar lesson.  You can expect the next system to be Super Reliable, I have no doubts.

I think you under estimate the current state of things my friend

I want the nextbox to have between 500 Gb and 1Tb SSD

to be bundled with full wi fi compatibility (pads, network, but also any other devices that are wi fi ready by that time, meaning a wi fi connection to my TV my amplifier or my mp3 player should be standard)

3d ready

F**K BLU RAY I don't want any amovible support, I want a DRM free online library of music and movies I can watch whenever I want with my XBL account for a monthly fee.... on any media that is XBL account compatible... that works for games too (what about second market, just think about it that way, if dev and editor don't have to buy tons of plastic and metals to press and box games, cut the cost of shipping those boxes to the retailers, and most important cut short a lot of the middle men, you can bet that the loss of second hand could be compensated by a lower price of sale on the regular market)

I want it to use cloud computing technology as much as possible....

I want it to load 8gb of ram

and some multimedia software avaiable, web browser, word processor, e-mail, basic photo editing etc...

be compatible with my enhenced vision contact lense we'll all have soon and be completely pad free at that point using brain waves to activate actions that kinect like technology can hardly capture ( like actual spacial movement up down left right forward backward)

be reliable, be quiet, be small, be reasonably priced....

- Reliability. Though the days im going to buy an xbox within the first year (or maybe even two) are over.

- Compatability. BC would be nice, but actually I might settle for slim v2 for ~$100

- No more proprietary hard drives ever. When I got my PS3 I immediately swaped out its stock drive for a 1tb drive. I should be able to do that with the XNEXT

- Blue Ray, unless they can pull rabbit out their ass and come up with an alternative royalty free 10-50GB DISC format.

- $399 min. $499 max. And I mean it, id love for $299 cheapo out the gate, but I seriously doubt we will see it from anyone other than Nintendo. Over time though they need to have a $299 and eventually a $199 version.

- XBox Live must carry over in full with some upgrades. My gamerscore, played games, friends, XBLA games, everything must be there on XNEXT Live day one. Upgrades should include: better guest login via controller (each controller has the option of saving gamer info to itself, friend brings his controller over, syncs to new console, guest logs in with password, DONE), gifting games to others just like steam, in dash message boards for every game, trophy room (does not have to be anywhere near as fancy as PSN Home is) that gives a visual to achievements, maybe even allow expansion of one room per game.

- The controller is still the _main_ way to play. I am not ever going to want to play most of my games using motion controls. Period.

- Wifi built in.

- 250GB standard.

That'll be HD-DVD then.

What you want is a PC.
