- Reliability. Though the days im going to buy an xbox within the first year (or maybe even two) are over.

- Compatability. BC would be nice, but actually I might settle for slim v2 for ~$100

- No more proprietary hard drives ever. When I got my PS3 I immediately swaped out its stock drive for a 1tb drive. I should be able to do that with the XNEXT

- Blue Ray, unless they can pull rabbit out their ass and come up with an alternative royalty free 10-50GB DISC format.

- $399 min. $499 max. And I mean it, id love for $299 cheapo out the gate, but I seriously doubt we will see it from anyone other than Nintendo. Over time though they need to have a $299 and eventually a $199 version.

- XBox Live must carry over in full with some upgrades. My gamerscore, played games, friends, XBLA games, everything must be there on XNEXT Live day one. Upgrades should include: better guest login via controller (each controller has the option of saving gamer info to itself, friend brings his controller over, syncs to new console, guest logs in with password, DONE), gifting games to others just like steam, in dash message boards for every game, trophy room (does not have to be anywhere near as fancy as PSN Home is) that gives a visual to achievements, maybe even allow expansion of one room per game.

- The controller is still the _main_ way to play. I am not ever going to want to play most of my games using motion controls. Period.

- Wifi built in.

- 250GB standard.
