Wasn't Heavenly Sword a launch title for the PS3, or at least one of the very few early games for the PS3? If it had be released today it probably would have only sold as much as th PS3 version of Enslaved.

IMO Enslaved is an instant classic that all gamers with PS3s and Xbox 360s should play. It's a real candidate for game of the year. I loved every minute of the game and I'm going to play throw it again to collect every orb and mask.

Actually, considering it's exclusive and the IP is owned by Sony, I'm sure it would garner considerable hype and good advertising (especially looking at Heavy Rain).

NT dont deserve good sales imo, there not a bad developer there just really horrible to there fan base heavenly sword was planed as a trilogy the first HS didnt sell enough f**k you fans we are going to make something else that will

Enslaved for me got boring too quick , its piss easy platforming and though the characters seem a little interesting i just didnt like the fighting, setting, etc.

Castlevania my god do i hope this game fails and burns to the ground so they can actually make a castlevania rather than making a fighting game adn just calling it castlevania.I still play the nes castlevania but this is just a disgrace

Can't agree with you, there.  I've seen Enslaved ads online and that's about it.  For Heavenly Sword, there was online ads, print ads, TV advertisements, and product placement (like showing the game on an episode of the hot new show "Heroes").  But yeah.  I'm disappointed with Enslaved's performance.  I just finished the game about an hour ago and I think it was great.   The downside is that the game isn't very long and there's not really much incentive to play again.  People looking for more bang for their buck won't need much more than a rental to get the full Enslaved experience.

Really? I've seen adverts for Enslaved on almost every channel I watch, notable ones being Sky1, 2 and 3, Comedy Central, FX, E4 and Dave, I see adverts for it almost every break o.O and I can't remember ANY TV advertisements for Heavenly Sword, I can vaguely remember some online ads, but that's about it.


In New York in the USA, I have not seen a single tv ad for it.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Castlevania could leg it out to decent numbers. and who knows, maybe it will do some decent numbers in Japan to ( I wouldent hold my breath tough). 

 

Enslaved... well it looked good, just like HS, but it would seem that its just to short, again like HS. DMC is probably TNs last chance to keep their team afloat. If that game will bomb they will probably go bankrupt. Lets be all honest here, the reboot wont make 5 million, so IMO we can already say goodbye to NT...

i really  am liking the new castlevania game and enslaved is a very good game as well. both deserve alot better sales

Nooo NT will not go bankrupt lol. at least i hope not. anyway the publishers cover most of the costs they may get a certain reputation though.
