Considering the level at which the PS360 are outselling the Wii, it would take another 3-4 years for the Wii to hit 40%. nevermind 30% marketshare. By that point it wont matter, as new consoles will be released.

"Can wii get less than 30% marketshare for Q4 2010?"

hmmm hidden pill question. so youre saying for oct-dec of this year? marketshare doesnt really work in quarters, but if you really want to dissect it, I epxect all systems to sell worse than they have previous years. Big leaps in unempolyment will make people conservative, Move isn't really pushing sales on PS3 (barely above the Wii which has nothing special going right now). Plus the Wii may yet have another 25-50 dollar pricecut by nov 15th. (no source, just a hunch)

In the end , I think that the ratios will be similar to what they were last year.

I'm not saying anything, I'm just correcting your mistake. I didn't write the OP.

Well 360/PS3 fans were kicking Nintendo when they were in the lead why would they stop when Wii begins to slow down?

I came into this thread to pretty much say this

Only taken 4 long years for PS360 to follow the leader...

The problem with being a front-runner is that your system or brand will inevitably come down at some point. It goes for all systems. Right now, 360 is the front-runner and I sure as hell am not going to be gloating about it.

I just usually stick to my old kicking can named Sony whose fall from the PS1 and PS2 eras makes any Nintendo or Microsoft fall this generation look like they are falling on a trampoline where one year they are up, then one year they are down, one year up and on.

Then again, Microsoft ain't won anything yet...besides having the most ubiquitous and awesome operating systems from Windows 95 to Windows 7...Well Vista sucked and still does, never liked that junky transition OS between XP and 7. OS aside, the Xbox 360 is going to have a bad year in 2011 starting January 1, 2011. Their 2011 game releases in comparison to Sony's is quite laughable, while Nintendo has a Zelda game coming out, therefore I will hold back my punches unless Skyward Sword fails to sell 2 million in the first month.

OP: No doubt, but Nintendo fans have produced some world class gloating and condescension this generation. What goes around comes around, I guess.

Personally, I don't really have a lot invested in this gen any more so I can't seem to care a whole lot to be honest. However, I do find it amusing that certain users who, with fanfare and bravado, declared all sorts of crazy feats and merits for the Wii are now all but gone from the site. Its okay to be mistaken, if you leave a forum simply because you were proven (dead) wrong, you really take things way to seriously online. If I were to leave a forum every time I was wrong, I might as well disconnect the modem for good...

Well actually in terms of software sales it has already reached that point. Take a look at worldwide yearly totals thus far.

Xbox = 70M PS3 = 70M Wii = 87M

Tease.

I own a  PS3 and a Wii

I have full right to be extremely pleased when the better product in my eyes is doing better. And I can safely assume 360 is a better product too because 90% of PS360's library's are similar.

Its not a matter of kicking it when its down....more of a finally seeing justice.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

The funniest shit is when the wii is u for a week it is really quiet in the forums related to who sold a lot. THis site has become a Sony's dream site. =_=. IMO The 360 fans barely say a damn word on this site and the ones that do don't say much to begin with. They are busy playing their games, unlike the Sony fans that make threads everyday.
