I kinda conflicted about this game, from the sound of things it's totally abandoning it's PC roots and is clearly designed as a console game first and foremost. But I do actually like the world of ehb and would love to see it more fleshed out. And the game does sound like the combat is more action based and fast passed which sounds like it could be a lot of fun if implemented correctly. But then again the series was originally a more tactical game and I liked that about the series, and Dungeon siege 2 tried to be a more action based diablo clone and that game kinda sucked. 
Like I said I'm conflicted about this game. So what do you guys think?

Wasn't the originals (or 1 and 2) made by Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games?

And this is made by obsidian?

The graphics and art style is very nice, and co-op play could be fun.

But it feels dull.

never played the first game, bought the second game a few months ago but online is dead so havent tried that either.

Still with Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 coming out next year i dont see why anyone on PC would want to play this game.

yea but as you can see Chris T still consults on the game. It's also being published by Square-enix this time round but and by the looks of the character designs they might have a little input as well. But that could just be me...
