  • Warren Spector has never seen Darkwing Duck, but he plans to watch the series and see if he believes it could be turned into a game

Biggest announcement of the decade and it wasn't even related to Epic Mickey!

Darkwing Duck deserves its own full fledged game it could be so epic, someone should suggest TaleSpin to this man (Flying sim with a lot of action and style? sign me up!)

"Waren made the game for Wii for three reasons. 1) The main game mechanics at the time were only possible on the Wii Remote. 2) The Wii's expanded audience. 3) Waren is a self admired HUGE Nintendo dork. "Miyamoto touched me on the shoulder at E3 and I suddenly became a better game designer!"

This make my day.

I was gonna buy for the effort already... then it actually looked good and had a nice intro sequence.... now i'll buy it as it suports the true religion =)

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Maybe not day 1 purchase, but week 1 most definitely.

And I am a guy who will almost never buy a game that is not discounted. Hopefully there will be a collector's edition in Europe as well.

Haha, that was my favorite part as well. ^_^

Glad to see that more and more people are noticing this game. Interestingly enough, I'm starting to see this game as the spiritual successor to the N64 Banjo-series, if only because of its action platformer roots. Still, its Disney roots really set it apart from anything seen before.

I was watching the opening level (Mean Street) and I saw a painting of sorts that made the illusion that it was a long road going down another part of Mean Street (It's Main Street at Disneyland/world). Now, this is great because there's an exact same thing at Disneyland. I think its so great that Warren and the team at Junction Point took so many little details and added them to make the game even more special. Sometimes its the small things that make all the difference in the world.

Oh, and I had a good chuckle when Q/A session started on the videos I posted in the OP. Guess what was the first question? Hint: Warren/Junction Point pretty much gets it in every single interview they have.

My inner cynic says: "Why the Wii? Why not a real platform?"

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

"Oswald's voice is performed by Frank Welker"

That is one of my favorite parts. I love anything that has a solid connection to G1 Transformers.

Have to add that I will be buying this over DKCR and it will be new from retail as DKCR will be from Ebay.
