Some people still think sales = quality? wow that's just a sad sad situation

Ps3 won't need a sim until next gen and doubt any rival will have content anywhere equal to this for a LONG time...PD won't do a turn around on the fans and give them them middle finger either hopefully

I'm not really into the GT series, because I haven't played any game of the series. Anyway, I was expecting a good racing game that got some delays, nothing more. But yesterday I was watching some ingame footage and it looked awesome. So yes, I'm hyped.

In theory a realistic racer with 100's of cars and tracks is great.  In reality, once you have perfected playing the game, the rest is long, painful, and grinding.  I'd rather pick up Burnout, Blur, or Split Second over and over again then try to get enough credits to acquire all the Forza or GT5 cars and complete all their races.


So to sum up this post: I find sim racing boring. I'd prefer to just get arcade racers.

I am playing GT5 prologue at the moment, and I find that it's not a great racing game. You just need to find the most powerful car to finish the circuit. The skill alone don't prevail, besides the circuits are very classic. Though, I'll wait the secondhand market to get my hands on GT5.

In the racing game, FZero is the king imho. Period.
