You would say the gamecube port is worse no matter what, your that type of person that won't admit that your taste isn't empirical, frankly I've heard legions of wacky excuses why twin snakes is garbage but the original is pure gold, with the best being OH THEY TOOK OUT LEI MING SUPER AWESOME ACCENT IT IS THE FAILZ, if the game was originally so great simple changes to the chereography wouldn't have made it garbage

plus KOJIMA HIMSELF HAD THE ALTERATIONS TO THE CUTSCENE MADE, THEY ORIGINALLY WERE GOING TO BE CLOSER TO THE ORIGINAL GAME,straight for Kojima himself

silicon knights mainly did the programming, models and cutscenes were handled in Japan by Konami not silicon knights, Twin Snakes is a Kojima game with everything that ear marks it as a Kojima game, deal with it, though I don't see why it should be a problem

@bolded , where does it say that?

"HK: It will pretty much be the same. The thing is, now that we're working with this great film director Ryuhei Kitamura, he's worked from the storyboard of the polygon demos, and then he's directed all the polygon demos, the motion capturing, so you'll be seeing a lot of different scenes. "

plus i know that Kojima is involved in Twin Snakes i was talking about MG on NES , read the posts above, and i also said that Twin Snakes was changed a lot and wasn't as memorable and wasn't really made by the same guys who made the originals , it was made very cliche.

Yeah, Twin Snakes was veyr much approved by Kojima, I didn't realize that anyone who owned the game didn't know that.

Hell, the choreographer for the cutscenes is the same guy who did the Choreography for Versus, I believe. That's pretty cool.

read the posts above, and what does Versus have to do with this? that game isn't even finished, did you come from the future and played it to think its pretty cool?

Yakuza versus Zombies was a movie made by the director who Kojima worked with to make the new cutscenes. And yes, if you keep reading, Kojima does mention his own involvement, and his approval of the cutscenes; he was the supervisor for all of the motion capturing, and gave his approval for everything. Twin Snakes is grade-A approved for Kojima-style consumption.

some articles have multiple pages, try going to the second one,and it had the many of the same people involved why is that so difficult for you to understand?

also the only reason it wasn't as memorable for you is nostalgia and Khuutra point about the director, the director is very competent and it isn't like Kojima Doesn't voluntarily use cliches the game is about a guy and his evil jealous twin brother, an old friend that is now an enemy another cliche,  a boss that has a weakness because it should have a weakness, KOJIMA LOVES CLICHES

I'm not asking questions, is the thing. Nor am I concerned with Metal Gear on the NES.

The point is that the implication of painting Twin Snakes as being the resulto f someone else's imagination (which is what you did) is that you pretend that the agency was in SK's hands, rather than Kojima's. It wasn't. Everything you dislike about Twin Snakes (and, outside of gameplay balance - which was definitely Kojima's decision - I found it generally better) is Kojima's fault, not Silicon Knights'.

And no, not "every fan" will say that the original was better.

The gameplay was improved ,i've never mentioned gameplay , it was a lot like MGS2 , Silicon Knights always did great gameplay (Legacy Of Kain : Blood Omen is one of my favorites, heard of it?) , i am talking about the script and cutscenes, they were altered a lot to the point of not making sense.

again read my other posts before you reply.

The gameplay was the part of the game that was shot to Hell. Introduction of first person shooting compeltely ruined the balance of nearly all of the boss fights, particualrly Revolver Ocelot and Vulcan Raven.

The script wasn't altered particularly much; referring to incidental lines spoken by a dying soldier in a hallway isn't exaclty going to prove your point. Events weren't really changed either. Back-flipping off a missile? Sure, that's a change, but one Kojima was behind and was a lot more fun to watch than what we got in the original.

Kojima was on a Matrix kick, or the director was and Kojima agreed with him; the result is the same. The point is the same, too: you placed the impetus of change on Silicon Knights when they had little or nothing to do with it.

this game is the only reason why im plannin on getting the 3ds
