Related note: I hope the VC on the next home console includes a price shift for older systems.

1000 Gamecube, then shift everything else down a tier. N64 games 800, SNES 600/500, NES games 300.

It's nice to dream.

I don't think this'll happen, at least next gen.  GC games will probably be added for 1500.

On the handheld VC, I expect GB/C games for 500 and GBA for 800.  If we ever get VB, they'll probably be 800 too.

Time to revive this thread!

These are the games I'd like to see (and would probably buy) on 3DS's Virtual Console:

Super Mario Land 1, 2, 3

Wario Land 2, 3

Wario Land (Virtual Boy)

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Dragon Quest I & II

Dragon Quest III

Mega Man I, II, II, IV, V

Shantae

Kirby's Dream Land 1, 2

I'm sure there are more, but for the time being... those would suffice.

I really hope there will be at least 30 titles available for launch.

Bionic commando for gbc

I'd like to try out some of the virtual boy games.

For the Gameboy(Colour) the Mario Land, Zelda, Wario and... that`s about it for me! :)

If GBA gets a place on VC: TLoZ: Minish Cap, Metroid Fusion, Yoshi`s Island and a Castlevania game and that´s it!

Appart from the confirmed, some GB games I wouldn't mind buying up: Double Dragon 2, Dr Mario, Fortified Zone, Kirby's Dream Land 2, Super Mario Land 2, Tetris.

For prices this is what I thought in another thread:

Using the WiiWare/DSiWare pricing as a guide, I fear Nintendo will go gb/gbc for 500, while going to 800 for gba. GameGear could go 500 or 600, and TurboExpress 600. I'd hope for lower values for the handheld virtual console, specially for the gb games, maybe subtract a 100 from all of them making it at the end: 300 GB, 400 GBC, 500 GG, 600 TE, 700 GBA.

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

GB/GBC games that I want:

  • Donkey Kong
  • Dragon Warriors games
  • Final Fantasy Adventure
  • Final Fantasy Legend games
  • Kirby's Dream Land 1 and 2
  • Shantae
  • Super Mario Land games
  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
  • Wario Land series
  • Tetris
  • Dr. Mario
  • Duck Tales games
  • Elevator Action EX
  • Flipull
  • Lufia
  • Pokémon Trading Card game 1 and 2 ( english language)
  • Survival Kids 1 and 2
  • Pokémon Yellow

And I also want gba games... this service will be pretty much dead without gba games.

Alot of GBC games but I want more systems. Neo Geo Pocket Color especially. Been playing mine for a while and I already want a back lit screen. Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Atari Lynx, maybe the Wonderswan Color...C'mon Nintendo! Get more!

Well, all of the Zeldas and Metroid from GB, GBC and GBA would be a start. Also, I hope all GB games will be in GBC mode...I'm not hardcore enough for colourless games...

I guess Pokémon would be cool as well, and Golden Sun would be übersweet.

While we're dreaming I'd like to be able to play all games from the Wii VC on the 3DS. Throw in cloud saving as well while we're at it.

I feel it's possible for the 3DS's VC to play N64 games, the button layout of the 3DS is very similar to the N64 main button layout and its graphical abilities should be more than enough to play any N64 game.
