Alexander Keith's is very good stuff. Right up there with Rickards Red and Red Leaf Lager (regional).

Nice, I'll have to try Rickards. Never had it yet.

twesterm said: This thread fails since it doesn't scotch, bourbon, or whiskey. Anyways, my favorites are usually porters (Meantime London Porter and Oscar Blues Ten-Fiddy being my favorites), stouts, Wild Turkey ( w/Dr. Pepper), Johnnie Walker Black when I want to be cheap, and McCallen 12 (well, I like 18 better but I can't really afford that often, anything in their Fine Oak series is great). |
I sowwy :(
Lemonade. And when I feel in good shape, Pink Lemonade.
It depends... during meals I prefer wine (usally red), while to simply have a drink I like beer, expecially belgian strong ale and trappist beers, sometimes I also drink some cocktails.
Beer. But not that carbonated yellow coloured stuff that calls itself lager (think Carling). If you're going to drink beer, you do it right and order yourself a proper one. :-p

Here's a recipe for homemade scotch.
Take Whiskey(Makers Mark, mmmmmmmmmmmm)
Add finely ground chalk and whole ice cubes
Drink then say "not bad, really smooth, but why does it taste like chalk?"
Note:Can substitute whiskey and chalk with any scotch.
Make a shot of Hendricks Gin, drink and say "much better."

That's twice now that you've admitted to enjoying battery acid.
What is wrong with you

It doesn't taste like battery acid, it tastes like a pine tree.... wait, that doesn't make it sound much better.
I'd like to know why you know what battery acid tastes like. That doesn't seem healthy.

I'm guessing you've never actually tried a nice scotch?
Because there's a pretty wide variety and little things can affect the taste of scotch a lot. Hell, a single drop of water can completely change the taste of a fine scotch (that's why people can be really particular about how much ice is in their scotch).
I'd suggest trying something aged in a different type of wood (for instance, I hate Sherry Oak but I love Fine Oak Macallen), different age, and a different brand.

Who said anything about drinking it? They smell pretty much the same.
Plus, Gin tastes vile on its own. This is why consumers hide it with other things.
