Take Whiskey(Makers Mark, mmmmmmmmmmmm) Add finely ground chalk and whole ice cubes Drink then say "not bad, really smooth, but why does it taste like chalk?" Note:Can substitute whiskey and chalk with any scotch. Make a shot of Hendricks Gin, drink and say "much better." |
I'm guessing you've never actually tried a nice scotch?
Because there's a pretty wide variety and little things can affect the taste of scotch a lot. Hell, a single drop of water can completely change the taste of a fine scotch (that's why people can be really particular about how much ice is in their scotch).
I'd suggest trying something aged in a different type of wood (for instance, I hate Sherry Oak but I love Fine Oak Macallen), different age, and a different brand.
