Forums - Nintendo - Some help?

I am going to get a Wii tomorrow. It is used and I am not getting motionplus with it. Should I try to find a motionplus for it? Does it have significant game support? Would a 7$ third party motionplus do the same job as nintendo original?

Is there any peripherals that you would recommend me to get? What do I need to play GC games for example?

The wii is softmodded, is it safe to play any games without bricking the console? If not, can you undo the softmod?

And in case someone cares, I am getting Wii sports, wii fit, super mario galaxy 1 and couple of random party games with the console.

Because it comes with WMplus. Or wait for Flying Smash, wich comes with the new Wii Remote Plus.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Because it comes with Motionplus and is one of the (at the moment) few games that use it very well.

You may want one for Zelda in 2011. And I would always consider buying a 1st party peripheral over a 3rd party one.

But don't you get motionplus cheaper without the wii sports resort?

GC controllers and games...that's it.  Might want a memory card too.

I don't know if that's the full list, but just look if you're interested in a few of these games:

Though I think some games on that list require MotionPlus and some don't.

GC controller? Memory card?  Classic controller won't work or why gc-controller? Those might be hard to find.
