On the one hand, this looks gorgeous. Good technical showcase with the best game in the MGS series. The field of flowers looks appropriately gorgeous and the texturing and modeling looks way, way better than the original Snake Eater. Snake and The Boss stand out in particular.

On the other hand, Kojima having access to 3D is going to make me want to gouge out my eye with a tuning fork. 3D should not be about excess, and this video alone shows how stupid the usage of 3D is apt to be when coming from this studio.

Now do that about six hundred more times and you've got an MGS game in 3D.

I am glad the 3rd best MGS game is on 3DS!! 

Now the 2nd best and the best MGS games (MGS2 and 4) should be converted to the 3DS too!

Yes MGS2 is amazing, a very misunderstood game that people get angry over because Snake wasn't the main character!

And See the RE footage on the 3DS version.....its not identical to RE5 but its kinda close!

In fact I guess this project is kind of emblematic of the whole series, and how you view this trailer will define how you look at MGS as a whole.

According to Kojima, Snake Eater 3DS actually uses models more comparable to MGS4 in complexity than MGS3.  Just sayin'. <3

did they mention the features? , i still don't know if its a full fledged game or just to showcase 3D tech? , that "Naked Sample" really bugs me.
