Forums - Nintendo - MH Tri Bundle is BACK !!! (at a better price too!)

game's already sold 1.8M copies according to Capcom, with 690K coming from the Western markets. http://www.siliconera.com/2010/07/30/monster-hunter-tri-moves-690000-units-in-the-west/  and this will MosDef make a uber succesful game even more succesful.  Too bad about the tale that a really good 3rd party exclusive with decent marketing can't sell on the Wii!!!

Around the Network

It's actually 1.84m so far.  Capcom's Platinum chart isn't exact always.

I hate this, i never saw the bundle in stores and i had to buy the game alone... AND NOW THIS!!

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

This game deserves all the sales it can get.  It's a 3rd party exclusive on Wii that didn't that didn't have some massive flaw preventing sales

Yeah baby!! I just hoped the bundles would've been sooner :/ i bought the standalone version myself

Around the Network

Good news, I bought mine on preorder (the bundle) so it´s a great deal for allthe people who were thinking about getting it... A few ads wouldnt hurt much in my opinion....

Thanks, but at least it's more accurate than what VGC has it as.  Also, it's always great to hear a Wii game surpassing expectations unlike Lost Planet 2 which basically was a dissapointment for Capcom and the reason for their reduced revenue/profit.

You might new so ill tell you something, Chartz measure actual/estimate retail sales, Capcom and other devs. count shipments to the retail stores.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

MH Tri Bundle - Back at Retail (better price too!)

INCOMING SALES SHPIEL!

Ok, so the first batch of Monster Hunter Tri bundled with the Classic Controller Pro that we shipped back in April flew off the shelves. They were largely gone in a matter of 2-3 weeks (they were a great value). In hindsight, we really wished we had built more of them.

So we went out to our retail partners and asked if they'd be interested in another round at an even better price going into the holidays.

Sure enough Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy and several of our Canadian retailers said "you bet"! So I went to our friends at Nintendo to see if we couldn't liberate another set of controllers to pack in. And those fine folks said "you bet".

So for $49.99 (and if you look around, a few retailers are being even more agressive than that), you can get your hands on one of the best/most addicting games for Wii and the perfect controller for it and any other pad appropriate games. The pad itself usually goes for $20.

Perhaps Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, would be another great addition to your cart now that you've got a pad.

If you're already a Monster Hunter Tri fan, maybe this is an opportunity to direct your friends to so that you can play together.

Now get THIS - if you don't have the game and/or want the bundle, don't walk, RUN to Amazon, NOW - as I'm typing this, while the price in Amazon for MH Tri is $47.91, the price of the bundle in Amazon is... $39.99 .  Who knows if that will last. Are you still here?

Y'know if they did a MH3 & TvsC with CCPro bundle that'd just be too good for a lot of people to resist, even multi-plat guys.

Monster Hunter 3DS confirmed?
