Reason why 3DS has/will have more support than the wii ever had is because mobile is where its at. Mobile is already starting to outpace other traffic on the internet. Soon, as it is with quite a few, the mobile handheld will be the primary way to connect to the internet, email/social, play games, watch videos, etc when away from home (10 hours a day for alot of people). Most of the time people are only willing to carry 2 devices with them. For me right now thats my phone and my PSP. Nintendo might have to step up its non-gaming... game if its going to compete for one of my two pockets, unless its going to target the young crowd primarily, which isn't a bad strategy, but does preclude it from most adults pockets.
