Move may not have been heavily marted as Reach, but they were plenty of adverts and lot of word of mouth for this device.

If it sold well people would say Sony did an awesome job marketing.

Sales were modest so they are going to down play the marketing.

I was expecting better, but a lot of people might be waiting for the holidays.

How does selling 50,000 more units on launch week = selling the same?

It's statistically the same.

I don't care if its "statistically" the same.

The FACTS are that Reach opened 50k higher than its predecessor, moved an aditional 60k units of hardware REGARDLESS of who to, and that people who claimed Reach wouldnt push 360 sales were wrong.

And this isn't counting America's. Do you guys really think there will be only a 50k difference between Reach and Halo 3 there?

You should care because you are in sales website that reports sales and adjust their numbers all the times. As far as I am concern these numbers can go up or down depending on new reports.

As far as US numbers, I expect huge numbers too.

I can accept the "slow burner" argument for the moment, but if by November it's still a "slow burner", Kevin Butler lied.

So much for the Move being in high demand.

Well...

It did put PS3 ahead of the Wii.

So it could have been worse, and been in 3rd place

Man, if I were you, I would just ignore such posts. I mean, little software, and no advertising. It's delusional to even suggest such things.

Move may not have been heavily marketed as Reach, but they were plenty of adverts and lot of word of mouth for this device.

I disagree.

I haven't seen THAT many adverts. I've seen 3 adverts for it in the UK on TV. One of those was today.

And word of mouth? What? These sales account for 2 days on the market. 2 days.

The only time I am pulling for the Wii, it has let me down. But, I never underestimate the power of the Wii during the holidays.

It's going to need to do wonders to win. Not only will you have to hope 360 goes flat YOY, you'll need it to drop with Kinect. You'll also need Wii to climb over last years sales, where it had NSMB and a Price cut. Not to mention, UK has just gone Xbox crazy this year ..

I think fact Wii does so well in Europe and NA and .. everywhere during the holidays misguided you, even last year in the UK they were relatively close.

I don't watch TV, so can't comment on that, I've seen lots of bus stop adverts though.
