 If you did a little research outside of xbox.com and ILOVEMYCAPSLOCK.com you would actually see that more and more developers are switching to the PS3 being the lead console in a multiplatform game, apparently its because programming the game for the Cell, and putting all that effort into it, makes the programming better for the Xbox and easier to slap into it, also unlike porting from the 360 to the PS3 where the product is typically worse in the transition, there is no such beast for all intents and purposes when going from the PS3 to the 360.

The world wont end, but the days of the 360 version always being better are numbered.

 

 


this is bullshit..... if a company is make a multi format game they will pay more attention to the console which has sold the most, so if the 360has 20 mill in the us and the ps3 has only 10 mill do you really think there gonna put more effort in to the ps3 version which they will make less money on

Except Guerilla wasn't defending anything. People wanted to know when the game was coming out and they obviously didn't have an answer so they just let people know that it wasn't in alpha yet. Of course, why pay any attention to that when you can say stupid shit on the internet?


 Actually they had the absolute most to defend after their E3 2005 trailer was found to be a hoax and nothing but CGI. They have been on the defence ever since. And after E3 2007, after reviewers got a hold of their pre alpha beta gamma version, they gave it the worst A.I. award. Then they had to reassure the rest of the world that this is is a sorry version because they were so so so so so so so far from completion. The entire Killzone 2 is wrapped in more controversy than any game this generation. Except maybe Lair. 


Despite the fact that it was recieved very well by the media and even managed to win some awards. You're not looking at the broad picture, you're narrowing in on one piece of bad press it got and trying to make it sound like it's whole showing was a failure. Also, it was mentioned well before that bad A.I award was announced that it was in Pre-Alpha stage, not after.

                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

What he's saying is that they will use the PS3 as the lead platform because both versions will run better because of it. It makes sense.

Actually the entire term "pre alpha" itself is a joke to developers. The Alpha version is the first version. Pre means before. So pre alpha means before development. Its a fake word to con casuals and has nothing about game development. Its nothing but excuse for a bad showing. Research it and you will see.

Why then are you the only person pointing this out? A mod has even posted in here and found no problems.

In fact your posts are the only ones here that are causing any issues. Nobody is flaming or attacking each other here (yet).

The only reason you're complaing is becuase you don't like the news. You're unhappy or angered because it's negative towards your console of choice. Well deal with it buddy.

Hopefully they'll get the balance right for the gameplay because dmc2 was too easy and 3 was too hard. Fortunately I bought dmc3 SE so I had other options and I think I'll be getting the special edition again.

I maybe wrong but isnt this game along way off. I get the feeling people are starting to look at this as hope for the ps3, but its too little to late.
