Forums - Sony - My Reasonable Move Impressions

Pretty good review, agreed on all point. Table tennis and tumble really goes to show the precision. As soon as you hit the silver trophy in table tenis, it becomes very precise and immersive. Though, I really like golf disc, not as precise but since I like frisbee the gameplay is satisfying.

Two things;

1) the battery- how long did it last? how long does it take to recharge?

2) I'm surprised that when you compared Move to Wiimote you didn't mention one other feature PS3 offers that the Wii really lacks, Online Gaming. I dunno If any of the current Move titles support it, but I'm sure most of the later titles will. Casuals who don't have someone to play against locally (friends live to far away or are at work/school, family members are away,etc) should be made aware of this feature. Sony would do very well to point out one of Nintendo's biggest weakspots and try to capitilize on it.

hey, let me answer for u since i got move too:

(At the guy who asked for the 'when did it come out': dunno, but here in Europe its out since September 15th)

- The Battery Charged for.. like 4-5 Hours or so, and the Controller itself is runnig for more then 10 hours and still show's all 3 Bars of Energy.  (In Fact, the Battery Inside 'should' be lasting double the Time the DS3 does, at least i heard that in the past).

- Online: yeah, i have EyePet MOVE Edition at Home, and it has an Online Mode. I hope there will be many more Online Games in the Future. (Socom and Killzone 3 are already announced, but i want some MMO-Style Games. :>)

@Reasonable:

That is a hell of a read, well made, and i definetly agree with your summary.

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

1) About ten hours, but you can leave it charging while you sleep so no issue

2) yes there are games which have online gaming re5:gold on release, socom 4, killzone 3 and many more at a later date, i also heard fight night has a vs mode but not sure if it has online or not

it's the future of handheld

I cant believe you put so much effort into preparing such a long report!

Am thinking of getting Move  but not sure how much Ill  enjoy it. I also have the PS Eye and use it with singstar and some games such as the trials of topoq bit it doesnt happen often. It sure was fun for my sisters kids.

How good is the sports champions? Does it have a lasting appeal?

About as lasting as Wii Sports I'd guess although it's early days.  I do think Sony should have included a few more events, more modes and perhaps even online, but I guess there was a trade off between launching and taking forever to have knockout titles.

I'd guess at this point playing it competitively will be where it's legs really are vs the AI.  That's where I've had the most fun.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Certainly reasonable impressions and I have just ordered mine with Sports Champions and a view to picking up Ruse and playing Heavy Rain again (but more importantly Sorcery in time!)

im still waiting for your psychonauts impressions :(

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Good read and I agree with your main points. Good going on the title as well.

It's kind of funny how Beat Sketcher is one of my most anticipated games for the Move right now, that thing is hilarious for drawing random stuff in your house.

I'm definitely getting the Heavy Rain Move edition and echochrome ii as well though, then we'll see how the rest of the lineup for 2010 will do.

Move is already released? When, like yesterday?

Its release date was different in different places. But i think it has been released in most countries.
