100% agree. The only thing I wanted was improved sprites, not 3D or anything over the top.

NIS listened to the fans and kept it simple, fun and overall is set to delivery everything their fanbase could ask for.

I really hope this game does well. I hope for at least 400-500k Lifetime.

I'll probably just buy it from my local Gamestop like I do everything.  Hopefully they'll give me an early review copy too so I can bust my ass and try to actually beat the game and review it before release.

I like how the story is sounding with the political overtones, might make for a story as good as the first Disgaea.

Also I wonder if that ties into the battle screen I saw in the video that looked different, let me find the time stamp and I'll edit it in.

edit: found it, at 1'30" that kind of looks like a battle that's more like one of your war driven SRPG's than the standard Disgaea battle, like a Fire Emblem type moment.

I really hope this gets an early-mid 2011 release. It is going to be fucking sweet!

It might take NIS 6 months (at least) to localize Disgaea 4.  So I am hoping for Fall 2011 release.

As long as they keep the Japanese voice acting, I will buy the NA version :)

And other stuff to add, according to Eurogamer you can invade your friends online, which sounds cool but I'll just have to wait and see how they implement it, I doubt it's something like Demon's Souls where you can be invaded without consent but then it wouldn't really be an "invasion" if you had to ask the guy for permission.
