Nintendo's new Wii Party trailer shows off some of the 80 new mini-games that you'll be able to get stuck into when the game is released on 8 October.

It showcases the House Party mode, which features four player games that all use the Wii Remote in interesting ways.

In Time Bomb you have to pass the Remote between players gently as if it was about to explode, Animal Tracker challenges you to be the first person to pick up the Remote when you hear the correct animal noise while Hide N Hunt is a game of hide and seek with the Wii Remote.

Then we can see many of the 80 mini-games on offer including Tropical Punch where the aim is to knock your opponents into the sea, Lofty Leap which challenges you to jump further than your opponents and Saucer Snap which sees you attempting to take a photo of a flying saucer when it's in the middle of the screen. It looks fun.

i didn't read the article because i am buying this game and i think if i read too much about every game it will ruin it.

but i'll be getting this for sure, love the Wii Party games and we have a lot of fans for this type of games here, the board-like games

This will be bundled with wii remtoe for £40 in UK as far as I know.

Ahhh this looks like so much fun!

I liked the British accent.

....oh yeah, and the gameplay, too.
