You are all under-estimating GRAN TURISMO........franchises don't just suddenly get weaker

You don't understand the kind of mainstream appeal this franchise has, some people just buy PlayStations for this game.........big car magazines ONLY feature GT5 in them........even niche car magazines have features on Gran Turismo in them.

My friends uncle is a car designer and he NEVER plays games, but guess what GRAN TURISMO 5 is something he has to buy and he's getting a PS3 for it so are most of his co-workers.......this game is an event, not just a random game release.

Like it or not a new GT release is always and event for the enthusiastic car lovers community.

Don't under-estimate the power of the dark side!

Aaaaaaaaaaaand.

I would say anywhere between 2.7 - 3.3 Million world wide. The majority of those sales coming from Europe... And a fuck load of bundles!
