That's what I'm talking about!
I'm not far at all yet... but I have the players guide. I couldn't help myself.
Good to see Phantoon back. Man, that boss probaby gave me the most trouble in Super Metroid. I'm so happy I played Zero Mission before I played Super. Going back to the crash site was a plain great move.
And a lot of you guys loved the Ridley fight... which is great, because the Ridley fights in Prime 1 and Corruption were just plain awesome as well. ^_^ Love that Space Dragon!

I beat the story at roughly eight and a half hours. I'm running around now to get all the pick ups
Without a doubt the Ridley fight was just awesome, though the one after you get the Varia Suit, the Magma Fish, and the final fight were awesome spectacles.
Amazing game! just beat it 100%. One HUGE problem I have with it. Adam dies in Fussion does he not? Or is it discovered that hes not dead in the begining of Fussion? And I'm guessing that asian guy was the deleter? (forgot his name) Maybe a sequel will be made that ties up all these lose ends and holes for me. Otherwise 9.5/10 is my score. Bravo Team Ninja.
EDIT: Ooooh just looked up the Adam stuff. I never knew he wasn't alive in Fussion. Silly me. And the deleter was James. When you see the scene with someone walking up to MB and a shot is fired. You later know MB is still alive and James' body is laying there.
my favorite boss fight was Ridley. Just awesome. Im very happy with the game.
The Ridley boss fight was lame. The ultimate Ridley battles are Metroid Prime 1 and 3. In fact, this one just copied moments from Prime 3, and Ridley's attack pattern was largely the same as ye olde Super Metroid. So, lame.
Now, the Metroid Queen, on the other hand, was outstandingly fun and impressive as hell. Plus, I'm so happy to finally see the Queen Metroid given the big screen treatment. Previously, the only other Metroid II revisit was the Omega Metroid showing up at the end of Fusion.
And the revisit battle with Phantoon was cool, though featured some annoying moments. The near constant barrage of eyeballs was annoying, but the opening to that battle was the best in the game.
The lamest overall boss battle was with the construction equipment. That was so stupid and mind-numbingly illogical. The sense-dodge move usually caused me to be hit twice instead of once if I just jumped out of the way. Retarded. Worst boss I'd ever seen in a Metroid game. Figures it'd be in Other M.

Yes. Best boss in this game for sure. Dodging around the metroids and hitting them with super missles was fun and challenging. I died a few times before I got it down to an art. Which is what a good boss is all about.
I thought the Ridley fight was fairly lame. Spam hit him with the charge shot, and when he goes into his super mode, fire a single super missle and he's knocked out of his super mode and ready to be pummeled. He never got the chance to hit me once. It was really disappointing. The Phantoon boss was also a complete joke.
My favorite boss fight... I suppose it was the Metroid Queen. I loved the ending to it!
The atmosphere in this game really spooked me out unlike any metroid before this. In the end when Samus comes back to the station and goes collecting everything, the monsters are so overpowered and I had this prevailing sense of loneliness and vulnerability. I was genuinely jittery. It was weird.
