Interesting. You should see what Brett has to say about that.
Though I'll point out that thee's no source cited for that conference call and they might not be including PC sales, nor is it illustrated the date up to which sales had been counted.

Well it was reported by a LOT of websites... And Nothing from EA to refute any of the claims. And as I said... Our numbers for every other game were pretty much spot on. I think we had ME2 on the 360 alone on 1.6 Million sold, so no PC sales, nothing on shelves and no DD sales.
Brett never replied to the claims or anything. I remember posting the link to the thread we had here to him but we got nothing.

At week 15 (when that article was published) we had ME2 sitting pretty at 1.72 million, and selling 10k units a week. Interestingly, it's started to accelerate - I wonder if that has anything to do with all the DLC, or if that might offer a view into the mechanics by which Brett estimates sales.
Regardless, lack of denial from EA isn't the same thing as confimation, but that's not relevant; I'm saying you should bring it up with Brett now.

At the end of March (The earnings call thingy was about sales for that quarter) we had ME2 sitting on 1.6M.
Here. Link to the transcript - http://seekingalpha.com/article/204598-electronic-arts-q4-2010-earnings-call-transcript?
"Mass Effect 2 sold through over 1.6 million package and digital units in the quarter for Europe and North America combined and launched with the Metacritic rating of 96 on the Xbox 360."
I don't even think he will be bothered about it. I mean, he wasn't bothered back then when the numbers actually came out so, why now? Will just seem like I'm nagging him for the sake of nagging. I suppose when the PS3 version releases we will get a bit more insight into sales of the series or ME2 specifically or something.
