It's more then a bit on the technical side but she talks about everything including the PS3 and the benefits of coders being  forced to work on the hardware and how that makes their games better on the 360

She actually said, and I quote: "In fact like there's a lot of games coming in, you know, that aren't doing parallelized spectorised pipelines on, you know, on the VMX."

This doesn't translate, at all, to "not a single developer has made use of the VMX".

i believe more on Crytek than PM... I think Crytek will take the juice out of the 360 with Kingdoms and after that will be difficult to beat kingdoms on 360... Gears of War 3 is looking awesome aswell but i believe is Crytek whos gonna make 360´s cry from pain. Also Turn10 has done a new engine for Forza 4 , i listen it in a podcast or so.



This guy needs someone else to do the PR work. He has lost so much credibility over the years, that statements like this which may or may not be true, are automatically seen as BS.

His main point was that she basically said the 360 is too easy to dev for so nobody takes full advantage of it.Crytek, Firebird, and 343 are all gonna make 360 bleed!

Yeah but MS are kinda to blame for that forcing developers to use Direct X so as to be BC with the future Xbox. Look at PS3 first party games, they program to the metal and the results have been spectacular. Now the 360 is meant to be going another 5 years let's hope MS relax those restrictions as I doubt many gamers will be fussed about the new Xbox being BC.

he's obviously talking about  doing things outside the box and pushing things in a new way in a different context than OMGZ GUYZ THERE ARE HAXORZ 12 MILLIONZ POLYGONZ ON SCREENZ RIGHT NOW!

A system can be no where near its limit when being used in different ways than "best graphics eva"

yea but those ps3 devs sure know how to make ps3 exclusives look far better than the competition.. and I mean far better..

Still waiting for a game that tops Uncharted 1 from the competition.. and yes I did go there again =)

well i can see his point. looking at it from a games perspective, i mean we are always goin to buy good games regardless of what platform it's for or how long a gen last: thats why i don't get why some gamers are so dessperate to end this gen. so many gamers are so skeptical and that shocks me to no end!

I'm pretty sure lots of people are gonna want backwards compat next gen so thats a good thing, also MS has sent out a new dev kit with more memory to debug, better tools ,and a new engine. It is now up to the devs to utilize those tools.
