Seems like every TV I see in hospitals, hotels, various businesses, etc are LG. So it isn't that surprising to see them so high. Unless this is households, then it is sort of surprising.

i can see it, but i don't think there TV's are better. i saw a TV at sam's club that kept making me think the objects on the screen were just sitting infront of the TV. it might have been a Panasonic and i saw a Sony TV that looked just as good. i don't like LG tv's

Wow that's crazy! Didn't know LG was so big.

I vouch for Samsung and Panasonic but I've never had a Sony or LG TV.

Does anyone here swear by Sony or LG TV's?

Don't worry I have a Sony T.V. to... though it was for my dad... and it's in the family room... and I can't really use it much. But the best T.V. I said that not meaning the Sony T.V. is some super god technology but rather just T.V. technology progressed, I bought my Sharp almost 4 years ago the only 32inch 1080p T.V. at the time... well the only I could find. 4 years is a lot of time to pass in T.V. technology now a days and my Sony T.V. makes my Sharp look "SD!" cause it's new.

LG is the worst brand that i had misfortune of owning .from their crappy cellphones to their image burning TV's.NEver Ever gonna purchase another LG product.Samsung or Sony (sometime panasonic)is the way to go in CE.Sony TV Sales have been booming lately with their agressive marketing and price reductions.

I wouldn'tsay I swear by SONY when it comes to televisions, but I will say that you are gauranteed quality when you buy one. Also, you are given a variety of in-menu options, allowing you to tweak the picture almost however you want given the technology you are buying. What makes SONY stands from the rest goes beyond the general initial specs you would normally find on a sales website. Their tweaking options go pretty deep. But even with that, SONY has been doing a fine job of having the specs set to a more natural color right out of the box.
