Average Move Review Score: 84% (rounded up)

Well its 90% if we round up to the nearest 10.

84 rounded to the nearest 10 is 80... You just made your maths teacher cry.

I am crying lol, poor darth tho:-p IT'S ENGADGETS FAULT REALLY FOR BEING SILLY FOR DOWNRATING IT FOR THE MOVE ONLY BEING £34.99 THAT'S EXPENSIVE?? MY BOOTY IT IS

Only 14 days till i get to move. :D

CNET just reviewed it and lets just say they have been pretty ignorant over the improvements made by move http://reviews.cnet.com/game-controllers/sony-playstation-move-starter/4505-3146_7-34167419.html?part=cnet&subj=Sony PlayStation Move Starter Bundle Kit#reviewPage1

I would not recommend this review as I think it's biased, they did not even test it's precision over wiimote all they did is try and pick faults with it, like they wanted it to fail.... oh well we can't win them all

I lost my last ounce of respect I had for Sony when they came out with this blatant Wii copy.

I LOST MY TEN OUCES OF RESPECT WHEN PEOPLE CALLED IT A COPY DESPITE YOUTUBE OF EVIDENCE FROM OVER TEN YEARS AGO

OK. NINTENDO DON'T GO REVEALING THEIR IDEAS BEFORE THEY NEED TOO. OTHERWISE PEOPLE JUST COPY. SO HOW DO WE KNOW THEY DIDN'T HAVE SOMETHING IN THE WORKS BEFORE THAT???

at the end of the day it is a copy because they didn't have the guts to release it themselves. On top of that they slammed motion controls and now they cool?

They also slammed 3DS for not using glasses for 3D, and guess what now SONY is making a 3D tv that doesn't require glasses because toshiba are making one.

because Sony had a patent on their design..for a playstation Wand back in 2005!, but yet there is video at Siggraph 2000 an 2001. of sony using the idea of a wand combined with the playstation eye..dr. Marks was a specialist in optical cameras..that's why he joined Sony back in 1999. he liked the idea of using camera's to control unique game experiences.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PtoxKDcCXc

and the most likely reason Sony waited to bring theirs out besides the problems of getting developer's to support the EYETOY in the previous years and getting the higher up's at Sony aside from the R&D teams who wanted to bring it out, to give another motion control platform another go at sony , because 3rd party's said once before they were going to support the EYETOY and few did, but also the very fact that Sony's motion control method was FAR and above more expensive than Nintendo's motion control method  at the time and not including the EYETOY having to be upgraded, the magnetometers having to be included, an on top of that you have to of course included gyroscopes, accelerometers and optical led's to display color's to avoid background color's in enviroments having adverse effects on the motion control precision without thoes LED's if you plan to include augmented reality..it was not only feasable at the time without major expense but the technology would have been way too expensive. Sony had to wait.

as for 3d glassless if you notice all the CE companies that make TV's they are all working on glassless 3D TV's but if you also notice Nintendo does not make 3D display's they get them from someone else! ie: a ce display company.

and if you want to be keen on innovation why is Sony concentrating on 3D now with Glasses well if you notice if you combine (MOVE 3D GLASSES) WHAT IS THE FIRST THING THAT COMES TO MIND WITH THAT TYPE OF EXPERIENCE?

VR its nothing new, companies have been working on VR in one shape or form for a while. but that is beside the point..no company is an island all unto them selves. if one is working on something pretty much everyone else is too. just someone releases first and most of the time the one that releases first has thing's that are missing that the other's would be including because at the time it would make it more expensive to have them included..like as an example an item that's missing out of the Wii an Wii motion plus that's not missing out of Sony's motion control or the one from MIT is magnetometers

I have now officially decided that i am going to get move,  it may not have alot of support right away but I dont think it will always have that problem.

Welcome back dude, your enthusiasm for move has made me decide to get it sooner rather than later as originally decided.

if you think about launch it's getting quite a bit of support..the big key is by developer's wanting to employ motion putting in the code does not take very long to get off the ground and go to include it into their games with Move. That is a very good sign.

Well, as with Wii games, the reviews for the games probably won't affect sales. Although I'm not gonna parade for this device (I'm not a HUGE motion control fan) I hope it all goes well for Sony.

CGI honestly I have tried this baby and most reviews in the 8-9 / 10 are hitting the mark spot on, honestly move may not be for everyone becaue it is so precise, but I beleive it will open up whole new options to us like that navigation idea I came up with.

Just preordered two Move controllers and Sports Champions from Sendit.com. They have good prices and low delivery costs to weird places, so it's good for me (but of course there is little monitoring of the sent goods, and I will receive them at best 4 days after shipping).
