The problem is Apple fanboys will swallow this as usual. When you argue with them like 'check financial reports, far less iOS devices than Nintendo DS / PSP sold' They just don't listen.

All they say is: Steve said so.

Is there really someone buying an iPod Touch because it's a mp3 player? I can't believe this.  It's advertised as a gaming machine and it would be a little bit oversized just as a music player. The PSP can play mp3s, too. So it's a music player, right?

The whole point in comparing console hardware sales is to make basic analysis of existing game markets, e.g. estimate software sales/revenues on those platforms. Direct comparison of hardware sales of dedicated game machine with iPod touch though as well as with smartphones, PCs etc is futile to make any valuable conclusions, more data required. Obviously it's PR statement like quantity of game releases comparison made by Apple previously, in other words just like previous orator has mentioned - Budweiser outsold them all combined.
