Well, I'm a FFVI fan and I've voted for Sephiroth, twice

These kind of contests sometimes turn into popularity contests, and thus, since GeOW is such a massively popular series today, it isn't a total surprise that Sephiroth is losing. There have been some pretty upsetting results in that contest so far as well.

Bub and Bob > Sonic to me at least Bubble Bobble is one of my favourite PC games of all time

Of course it isn't all about personality, there's also a lot of pettiness and quarreling that comes from fans from popular characters voting against each other. I just hope that in the end, the winner is somewhat consensual XD
