Lost Guardian is the only gigantic title IMO and the only Ps3 exclusive I personally have on the radar after GT5.

Left 4 Dead 3 is the only big title IMO and the only 360 exclusive I personally have on the radar after Gears 3.

Good luck to Microsoft keeping Left4Dead 3 a 360/PC exclusive now that Valve sees that working with Sony is just as valuable an asset as working for Microsoft.

Well that's just your own personal preference, anybody could say the same for any other lineup, not to mention your 360 list also includes like 6 sequels? haha...

And let's say the PS3 wasn't getting anything but exclusive sequels in 2011 (which is far from the truth, read this friggin' thread and inform yourself) what's wrong with more Resistance (previous game in Nov 2008), Uncharted , Infamous, Killzone, Ratchet, etc etc etc? The more the merrier! I'd rather have great sequels than new crap any day.

I know I know. The 360 is getting slain by PS3 next year. We will have to rely on multiplatforms.

I think you should save some money and buy a PS3...I mean, if you really are a hardcore gamer, I don't see the point in missing out so many games. You may say you're only interested in 1 or 2, but the truth is the PS3 gets 12-15 more exclusives every year (this year my count is on 16 exclusives not counting Move-only games) and most of them are good quality in diverse genres. People without a PS3 are missing out too much, imo, unless they only care for 1 or 2 games and most of the time only play the same stuff over and over (likely shooters over Live)...

I will buy a PS3 soon. I already have 4 games for it and Im very ecxited for Gt5 and Last Guardian.

This subject is very premature.  We only know of 3 exclusives coming next year to the 360:  Gears of War 3, Codename: Kingdoms and Star Wars Kinect.  And, to be honest, we don't know for sure that the last two ARE coming next year.  

What does that mean?  That Microsoft Game Studios hasn't announced what they're up to yet.  Business as usual.

Sony announces almost everything way in advance, so there will be few high profile PS3 surprises released in 2011.

Which is more effective for hype building?  YMMV . . .

Did I miss something? 'cause that's 14 PS3 games  vs. 6 Xbox 360 games (counting a timed exclusive ME2).

 

Really, nothing surprising to see the 360 getting beat to a pulp exclusive-wise.

You forgot Metro 2033, Tropico, Supreme comander 2, Sniper, Divinity 2, NNN2...and a bunch of other coming up titles that I am too lazy to look up.

Yes, but since 2008, Sony has delivered on the exclusive front. It's more of a concern versus condemning them for a (seemingly) lack of hardcore software. Of course some of this is premature, but the concern isn't outlandish.


It is outlandish unless a 360 owner is woefully unsatisfied with the full lineup of game releases for it.  If this is more about "the other console has more", then waaaaaaahhhh.  Your best friend may have a wife that cooks more meals for him than yours, but that doesn't make your wife inferior.

As I have stated in another thread MS does not announce games as early as Sony. If you remember correctly Reach wasn't even shown until November of last year and that was just a teaser. It is only August of 2010. Just wait until Reach and Kinect have released then MS will start releasing details on exclusives for next year. They don't want to take the focus off of two of their biggest releases in their console history (Reach and Kinect). As of right now you can pretty much count on Crytek's Codename:Kingdoms, Gears of War 3, Forza 4 all being released next year. I expect at least a couple other exclusives being released, hopefully a new IP. I'm not even counting all the Kinect exclusives that will come out. Hopefully one of them being Kinect Star Wars.
