Wii Party and DKR will, Brawl and both Galaxies could with promotions etc and who knows what else Nintendo has planned (Wii Sports 3 etc?)...

Should be 12-13 based on what we know plus whatever else comes along and how long Wii remains active

I agree with ioi. I think if Nintendo were to do a 'Player's Choice' line (which, at this point, they'd be foolish not to), both Galaxies could easily top 10 million.

Bah!

brawl will be the only non wii titled wii game to brake 10mil. Everything else depends on how many games with casual appeal nintendo decides to stick wii in their title. If Super Mario Galaxy cant brake it and SSBB is having problems braking it, there is no way Donkey Kong Country will get close.

Mario Kart Wii, and New Super Mario Bros Wii topped 20 million and 15 million respectivly, and they arem't Wii -- games.

Also Donkey Kong Country did over 8 million on the SNES, it has a chance, but I feel it will fall short as well.

I voted "10 or 11." You have said 7 already.

I think DKC: Returns, Wii Party, and Smash Brothers will make 10 million. I am highly skeptical of Zelda: SS selling more than 7.5 to 8 million tops.

Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus should be counted as one game IMO.

Sadly I'm not convinced that Skyward Sword will break 10m, even though it will be fantastic.

Well they are different games. I understand Wii Fit barely qualifies as a game, but it does, and just like Mario Party 1-8 are 8 different games, Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus are two different games.

I guess I'm the only one with faith for Skyward Sword. I think Skyward Sword has a chance to make it because Twilight Princess has almost 6 million, and that was a ported Gamecube launch title. It's just everytime I look at Most Wanted, Zelda is at the top, and I know amongst hardcore Nintendo gamers, it's a must have title. If Zelda manages to appeal to the casual gamer, it may just break 10 million. Maybe I'm just being wishfull.

P.S. I don't like the art style in the new Zelda. When Twilight Princess came out I thought that there is hope for the franchise, but ..... damn Nintendo. Don't get me wrong, I still loved Wind Waker, but the best Zeldas in my eyes are the semi realistic N64 interations, and Twilight Princess.

P.P.S. Anyone read reviews about Metroid: Other M? I'm so sad now... only 10 hours long

Wii Fit Plus = Wii Fit some new exercises and games. It's more of an extension than a new game.

I certainly wish that SS will break 10m, it's just that Zelda games tend to not excite casual gamers that much. I've got a few friends who love Jak Daxter, but they don't want to play Zelda. They're completely stubborn in that way, they like J D because of the characters and don't value Zelda's superior gameplay.

I feel Skyward Sword has a chance because Ocarina of Time sold 7.6 million units, and although no Zelda will ever be as good as OoT, the new art style for Zelda will attract some casual gamers. I mean Twilight Princess, a Gamecube port sold 5.65 million, and is still selling.

Maybe DCKR has a better chance, but Skyward Sword AT LEAST has a good chance at being the best selling Zelda.

Wii Party will for sure, Smash Brawl may inch past it.  Other than that I don't really see anything, unless Nintendo introduces a Player's Choice line, then some older titles (like Mario Galaxy) could.

Wii Party could hit 20 Million and so 10 Million is a given.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl will hit 10 Million as it only has 410K left to go.

Donkey Kong Country Returns will sell to at least 1/2 of the people who bought N.S.M.B.W and I think it has a shot at 10 Million.

Kirby's Epic Yarn deserves 10 Million...but that doesn't count so forget it.

So thats 10 games that would be 10 Million sellers...but I think it can pull out at least 15. Nintendo is good at knowing what people will and won't buy and so bu the end of Wii's life I think (over) 15 is possible.

We can now add Fling Smash to the list of probable 10 million sellers.
