Sega should have released it on 360 and PC in addition to PS3. At this point it doesn't make any sense for a 3rd party publisher to do PS3 exclusives.

I'm thinking after the 3rd game comes out on the P#, SEGA will do an Anthology for the XBox 360 and have all 3 games bundled in for $59.99. Im surprised SEGA has made more games for the XBox 360. They were huge supporters last gen and made a ton of exclusives for the XBox. Microsoft should just buy them out. They really need a Japanese developer in their stables anyways.

they cannot due to what i posted, the core character's were designed by sony animation unless all the core character's dies, which can happen and SEGA goes to another animation studio that's not Sony's It will not be on any other patform but Sony's.

Why would it matter that the Anime's characters were designed by Sony Studios?

I mean, you could argue that they made an exclusivity deal as part of picking up the anime. (of which there is no proof.)

I don't see what the Anime character designs have to do with anything though.  The Anime was after the game, afterall.   They "designed" the versions of the characters that already existed.

because that includes the model's, did you even play VC: because if you did all the animation seq's are from Sony!

in the Game the cut scenes are all from Sony..in order to port those would have to be removed!, which mean's the character's like Welken would have to be removed!. Sega could do anotherone and start over no welken no 7th, and start fresh with a new animation studio for character design.

What?  You do know the games cutscenes aren't from the anime right?

The anime came after.  With everything... after the game was done.

All the ingame VC art was done by Sega.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1322987/fullcredits

Additionally, even if it didn't.  If you submit art for a project.... said art becomes the IP holders.

So even if you were right... (Which as shown you weren't)

Sony would have zero say.

Heck even if they did... I doubt they'd block it.  I mean look at all the Sony products that go multiplatform... ex Ghostbusters.

Why do you keep posting the credits for the Anime?

They did the modeling and animation for the Anime.

That has zero to do with the game.  Which... Sega did do the models and animation for.  You can look back in that link i posted of the full credits.  Note zero Sony people.

Which you know... even if it did, would be irrelevent.  Since they would of did it for Sega... aka Sega would own the rights to use said work however they want.

Seriously, I still can't get why you think the fact that Sony worked on the Videogame to anime conversion.   As in the conversion of the already made videogame into the anime.   That would give them any right to the videogame.

That's like saying Capcom can't make Street FIghting games without consulting Group TAC.

Yes.  They would have to be remade in a digital animation studio.  The anime graphics look totally different from the videogame graphics.  Have you seen side by sides?  They're different.

Besides, even identical you would need to remodel everything for the show.  You can't just outright take the videogame animations and turn it into a videogame.

The credits I posted weren't from the games localization.  Why would you need a character designer for the games localization.

You are just wrong and for some reason won't let it go... you're just embarrising yourself.

VC was first released April 28 2008.  The Anime was released April 4th... 2009.  Nearly a full year later.

By the end of 2010.

Sony Music Entertainment also created Tenchu.  That sure stayed exclusive. :P

And neither Sony nor A-1 are at all credited in Valkyria Chronicles.  The character design is all Sega staff, animation was also done inhouse at Sega though some of the CG modeling was outsourced (to Weiz Animation Studios and Flight Unit Co.).  Valkyria started out as an Xbox 360 game btw.

That too... I really don't get his infatuation with the anime credits.

My guess is he mistakenly thought Valkyria Chronicles was released in 2009... or something?

Not that it much matters.  I don't see them porting a 2 year old game to the 360.

I mean, not Valkryia Chronicles anyway.  It's got it's fanbase... but lots of games have fanbases like it.  It's just a niche franchise.
