Yeah, read the same story just a little while ago. Hate crimes are horrible. Bet this almost killer won't get labelled a terrorist for his religion though.

No, but I'm willing to bet he'll be used to slime all the people who are opposed to the Ground Zero Swimming Pool/Mosque. By the very people who are always at such great pains to point out that all Muslims aren't to be blamed for 9/11, no less.

Well as always, the fault should be on the person that breaks the rule of law, and resorts to violence.

So if this guy really did what this report says he did then of course he should go to gaol or whatever the courts consider the correct course of action.

Really saddening... These crimes just shouldn't be happening...

Kind of sad, but for some reason I am not surprised at the hate crime. 

Not saying this is right or anything, but the dude was drunk at the time.

I would never consider this a hate crime, tho he SHOULD receive all the stigma/punishment that goes with that.  No reason to attack someone in this manner, period and I hope he gets full fisted by the law.

When your drunk things you would normally keep to yourself surface, could be the case with this guy. If he was sober the cab ride could have gone without incident.
