That form of Gravity Suit seems to distracting, perhaps a subtle glow of light would work. The purple reminds me of Super Smash Bros Melee, I am not sure why though?

You really need to pick up some of those games |
the only one in that list I was tempted to get was NSMB, however, I imagine it is like LBP, while LBP is a good game, I didn't really enjoy it to it's full extent until I played it with friends, in the same room. And like LBP the only friends I have that would play that game with me live a couple hours away.
Was also contemplating Galazy 2, but never finished the 1st one... and lent it out, never to see it again :( Also never played a brawl game in my life though I did like MK, SF, etc.. when I was younger, bought SF4 for Ps3, didn't really play it much due to me getting owned online (my ISP connection is only 1.5 megs down by 800k up - so in games where split second timing is critical I get owned - though I still play MW2 and do ok)
Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

What made you think this would be any less enjoyable in single player than the past 2D Mario games?
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I didn't say it would be, but just as I didn't "love" LBP until I played it with friends I felt NSMB would be the same for me

Well it's not like that. I just played it at store demoes, and it's still awesome in single player as SMB 3 and Super Mario World.

This deserves to be in that "Halo reach is better than X thread".

Little Big Planet and New Super Mario Bros. are quite different games with fairly different emphases: I strongly suggest at least borrowing it from someone if you can and trying it out, since I found the solo game to be just as fun as the multiplayer.
All that space wasted in cut-scenes... Pre-rendered cut-scenes are so PSOne-era, I think current consoles already have more than enough power to tell the story with real-time graphics. Heck, I enjoyed real-time cutscenes on the Nintendo 64.
And I loved the purple suit u_u
