The only thing that can mess up with GT5 is the online (we don't know bout the results yet i think xD). Besides that, is the perfect driving simulator.

after sony took away the virginity of gabe newel their developing rate has increased. i predict that e3 2012 half life 3 is going to revealed! it shall come fall 2012 and it shall have a metacrtic of 99. the only sight which isnt going to give it a perfect score is vgchartz :(

Honestly, I want to know who here really likes serious type racing games because I know out of experience and talking to people that I know that many dont like this series solely because it is too damn serious. Dont get me wrong here I played GT 2 on the PS1 and finished it (Got most if not all the special cars, bought the best cars in the game because I can thanks to the reward system being so easy heheh), but honestly after getting a real car, i am not convinced that the cars in this game handle real... Which is supposed to be a huge part of the game right? Im assuming that the game mechanics are similiar to Gt 2 (since from the trailers it looks exactly like it but updated visuals).

I actually expect it to do pretty poorly (relatively) probably in the 85-90 range. Not because its bad, but because I feel theres a lot of bias towards it in the gaming press.I hope to proven wrong however.

Theres hardly any chance at all of it being the highest rated game ever

I'm expecting it to get in the 94-97 range on metacritic

But i doubt it will beat Zelda: OoT because that came out before metacritic was invented so it had alot less reviews

I doubt it. Since 2001, we've had two GT games, 4 and PSP. They earned scores of 89 and 75 on Metacritic. Between that and its fairly late release date, I seriosly doubt that this is going to match Ocarina of Time.
