I voted 29 weeks plus, and I'll list my reasons.
- Microsoft has still to release the 360 Slim Arcade in Eurpe and Japan, and that boasted sales by about 40k a week in Americas. So in the next few weeks I think it will still go up.
- I feel that the 360 Slim Arcade needs at least 12 weeks to die down in popularity on it's own, nevermind with any boasts the console may get in sames. So that on it's own is November-December time at least.
- In September Microsoft is launching Halo: Reach along with Halo: Reach special edition 360 Slims, that should boast sales a bit.
- In October Microsoft is launching Fable 3 and Kinect (late October to my knowledge), so that will boast sales
-For a week in Novemeber PS3 MAY see stronger sales then the 360. It's probably 40/60 decision for me, but I side with the 360 because I really think the Slim model on it's own will boast sales and popularity this fall, and Kinect comes out a few days before GT5 (to my knowledge, but I keep hearing in forums that Kinect has a Novemeber release. I thought it was like October 28th)
-Then after the holidays, it's anyones guess, I think the 360 will still hold dominant sales until March-April, but Gears 3 will give it a little boast to May.
Consecutivly, I don't think the 360 Slim will outsell the PS3 Slim week on week for as long as the PS3 Slim outsold the old 360 SKU mainly because Sony has a Slim PS3, not an old SKU. I also do think there is a serious chance that Gran Turismo 5's launch will boast PS3 sales above 360 sales for a week or two. However since Kinect comes out before GT5, I don't think that will happen baised on the popularity of Kinect. After the holidays, it's simply a matter of how long 360 can consecutivly hold dominant sales over PS3, it's likely to break one week in 2011, maybe Killzone 3 weekm but that game doesn't sell that well anyway. After Gears 3, I have absolutly no clue what will happen, I think 360 will be the dominant system until E3 2011, but I don't think it will consecutivly outsell the PS3 in 2011, and it will be close.
