Forums - Sony - Why doesn't the Navigation have Motion Control?

I was looking today on Amazon, I I noticed motion control wasn't in the description. Any reason why? I assumed they'd do it the same way as the Nunchuck for the Wii.

if you want dual motion control you can use too wands, the nav controller is for buttons

Because then it would cost more, and it's already overpriced enough.

thank god someone else noticed this, its going to cost us more for 2 move controls and this nav control they should of just made a move control with a analog stick. what if a dev wants to make a game like zelda because using the bow requires 2 motion contols 1 to aim and the other to pull back the string... i hope sony know what there doing :/

Apparently they couldn't have wireless AND motion control...

Which to be honest, I wouldn't mind the wire if it meant I didn't have to buy another wand.

I do think that having to buy two wands and a nav is a little stupid to have the "Best gaming experience", that'd cost me £95 altogether, a price I'm not quite fond of. Well, it'd be £110 since I'd buy the Move bundle first...

I thought that too, but they said you could use a DS3 for it and the DS3 has Six-Axis.

I thought it functioned like half of the sixaxis.

It's possible that a patent prevents them from releasing it.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

You don't need your nav controller the ps3 standard control will work as a nav unit

Yea but have you seen it being used as a nav unit? It looks uncomfortable as all hell, especially if the game requires u to press buttons on the DS3/nav unit. Hopefully there aren't much dual-wand games, especially nothing "blockbuster" because that would be too much on a consumers pocket.
