I think before the PSP, the Game Gear was the most successful non-Nintendo handheld... and people are saying it only sold 9 million hardware!
I'm not sure of the exact number, but that's pretty lame compared with the Gameboy. Although, I enjoyed the games, aside from Tetris, a little better on the Game Gear, just that it loved to suck on 6 AA batteries....
THE WHORE!
Yeah , the bGamegear did allready 3 times less than the PSP , and it was out for 5 good years , while the PSP is out for less then years worldwide . Software sales are pretty mediocre , I agree , but the hardware is doing pretty well :)
