You know you are right about that
but I think it is a slap to build it there

I couldn't fucking believe when I heard they want to put a mosque 2 blocks from the WTC site, that is extremely disrespectful in my opinion. Now I know it was the "extremist" Muslims that attacked the WTC and not the "everyday" Muslims but still. Like out of all the places to put a mosque they have to do it so close to ground zero which people of their religion attacked. I don't know how anybody could support this.
So I can understand your point about tolerance but I think it is a little nieve.
But can't any of you understand how this can be construed as a slap?

To paraphrase - Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say other religions were innocent and keep a straight face.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

That is just about the most racist thing I have ever heard.
The bombing of Pearl Harbour was a decision made by the Japanese government in the 1940s. Emperor Hirohito represents Japan.
9/11 was orchestrated by extremists and terrorists who are despised by the vast majority of Muslims.
I don't agree with the building of this Islamic Centre, but only because it's a blatant move of political correctness, and I hate political correctness with a vengeance.
Moreover, this is some half-assed attempt to fix relations between the Islamic world and America, not any sign of genuine goodwill and feeling of equality, or he wouldn't be stressing the fact that it's two blocks away from Ground Zero.
It's moments like this in which I lose all sense of logic and really hope Obama is kicked out in two years.
Try to wrap your brains around this
In your voyage of tolerance and due to the fact you care more for appearance
you slap belittle trample on the memory of those who died on 911
I say that because you don't understand how this might have an adverse affect on people
showing you are also intolerant
So, why do you blame the religion instead of the extremist groups that is responsable?
they are individuals or groups that take action to make a political gain at no matter the cost. and we all know politics fix nothing. the only thing politics can do is make and create laws, and declare war.

And the guy who brought in the republican party?
You do realize that dems are the biggest advocates of the separation of church and state so why would they like this?

They are a theocracy their religion is what they base their government on
Because they hide within the peaceful people its their MO
They were Muslims who brought down the towers. The terrorists brought down them so people would remember.
They wanted to shake people to the bone and they succeeded. They went after other monuments well known. Why do I have to explain why people are offended
I think you know why
