Dk, is gonna be big, not as big as nsmbwii, but it has chance of moving consoles, a great classic returining. Actually, I'm gonna make a prediction and say it will outsell gt5, yeah!!

ps3 had its turn with the slim, and now same for the 360S..should last some more months and into the holiday season...the real tie-up should begin in the holiday season...

I predict that DKCR will sell 2M tops lifetime and wont sell a single wii.

People obviously don't need to say "doomed" to insinuate it is.

When someone predicts the 360 and possibly the PS3 will outsell it this holiday, that's essentially what they're saying. Since we know 360 and PS3 sales will be low (compared to Wii last holiday), for this to happen, the Wii would have to be down like, 40%, at least.

edit: Wanted to add that the Donkey Kong comparisons are useless. 2D DKC has been tried only once - on the SNES, and it sold more than Mario Kart.

Try that "last 3 Mario Kart's before DS" and see what you get. Yeah, what does that tell you?

I don't think DK has many fans now as it did i nthe 90's and people wont be fussed over buying a wii just for a DK game.

I honestly think DKC:R will sell about 8 - 10 million 

However this is based on the assumption that Nintendo successfully advertises it to those who bought NSMBWii

Wii had also gotten a price cut remember and was still doing well compared to the competition.it isn't now

Love for game doesn't die (unless the people who bought it at 90s died )
