Exactly so YOY difference is misleading because Wii did 94K in Japan this week last year.

Still the American decrease is concerning, but the overall one would be lower if MH Tri wasn't out this week last year

it is misleading but it is also hard to keep track of these things with the current tools vgchartz provides.  the return of charting capabilities can't come back soon enough imo.

Anyways, software is interesting, with lovely legs from Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Red Dead Redemption. Heck, did anyone notice that Just Dance has become the king of "best selling games people love to hate" now that it's taken over Carnival Games?

Actually, I'm really interested to see the Holiday legs from said games. Hopefully they'll continue to do well. ^_^

Wii's lack of AAA third party support, HD, and a great online gaming experience are starting to show.

I was updating my YOY software spreadsheet and I noticed that there have been adjustments made to software sales. From what I gather weekly software sales for each platform have been reduced, the differences are small, but this is based on a just a few weeks I looked at.

And now I have to start over from scratch, updating the numbers for 2010 and 2009.

Sort of random, but now I picture you as a wizard updating your 2009 and 2010 YoY spreadsheet on a withered tree computer.
