GT5 trending ahead of MW2 but it's got to start picking up steam. Which is basically just a matter of the advertising campaign actually starting. I mentioned this in a previous thread but GT5 will likely have a better preorder to first week ratio than MW2 (PS3) because it'll be bundled. Hopefully Other M finishes strong, I just preordered mine last week. Hopefully it'll beat Prime 3.

@ the various Kinect / Move comments: People do know that Eyepet and LBP2 will support Move right? So plenty of people will buy Eyepet (which comes with PSEye packed in for less than the price of a normal retail game, on the same week Move launches) and there is a high probability that those people will also buy a Move controller because it will be a lot easier to use than the Eyepet magic card. Sports Champs pre-orders alone can't be extrapolated to Move pre-orders. I'd say add at least 50% of Eyepet pre-orders to the Sports Champ pre-orders and that is closer to an indication of the Move launch performance (and still an under-estimate too). Not to say Kinect pre-orders aren't tracking very well, they are. You just can't compare Sports Champ and Kinect Adventures and say "that's the Kinect - Move gap".

I was thinking the same thing it is not easy to compare as the Kinect games are clearly marked whereas the Move titles are not because they are either not move exclusive or built into other titles.

Winner of the 2010 VGC Holiday sales prediction thread with an Average 1.6% accuracy rating. I am indeed awesome.

Kinect as seen by PS3 owners ...if you can pick at it   ...post it ... Did I mention the 360 was black and Shinny? Keeping Sigs obscure since 2007, Passed by the Sig police 5July10.

Damn, the Halo fan boys have been saving their allowance. I don't understand the Halo phenomenon, Halo: Combat Evolved was amazing, but the series has gone down hill from there; however, maybe the space combat in Reach will be awesome.

Reach is a beast.

It's actually puzzling that GT5 did not see any increase of preorders  in the last few weeks. Also concerning is that, In the last 10 weeks, Black Ops picked up 120,000 preorders while GT5 only picked up 60,000. With it currently pace, it will fall behind MW2 with 10 weeks to go.

Does anyone have a FFXIII chart that we can compare?

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

I truly do not understand the craze for Halo. Well good for Bungie I guess.

FFXIV not doing bad. Hopefully will pick up some more steam in the next few weeks. Star Craft 2 probably didn't help this week.

Obviously you haven't seen any footage of gameplay from Reach. There is much more to it than just space combat. Try to use punctuation once in a while.
