I think that no matter how good the wii remake is, this game will have terrible reviews because:

1. It just can't be as graphically groundbreaking for its time as the original was

2. It might improve on every single thing the original did right, but if it isn't as groundbreaking gameplay-wise as the original was, critics will overlook the fact that it's a much better game than the original and will instead talk about how the first one was more or less a legend while this one isn't.

3. With all the great first person shooters out there right now, if Golden Eye doesn't have the absolute best multiplayer experience (which is an unfair expectation that I'm guessing many will burden the devs with), it will be a disappointment to many and no matter how good the game actually is, people will bash it for not being arguabbly the best out there like its predeccessor was.

   I might be wrong or one might even have more reasons to back up my prediction. I just thought this would be an interesting discussion.

I think most of us have our expectations pretty low.

I expect bad things just based on it being a 3rd party Wii exclusive.

However, I think FPS expectations are generally low on the Wii and it has the nostalgia factor. So they might score this on a curve.

i see your point and raise you it will e worse ten that cause i don't expect much, but i'm hoping for lot.

and it plays like COD: Reflex.. i reckon they will give it average 8's because its a wii game alone, i will be happy shocked if they give it a 9's though

The mediocre reviews will probably be a result of a mediocre game. This concept is completely flawed.

what if I review it right now based on what I'v seen and played and give it like a 12/10, that will surely mess the metacritic up lol

nah not mediocre. I'm guessing the Metascore will be somewhere between 72-79.

Only thing that interests me is which James Bond game will get the better score. Blood Stone or Goldeneye Remake ?

In the end I think they will be on par.

 expect low reviews just because of the graphics.

Just because it's not completely flawed doesn't meant it's credible anymore, especially with the Wii. Many outright said they gave NSMBWii lower scores explicitly for reasons about how they are supposedly obligated to, as game critics.
